Discover Brussels with heart
Let’s unite our hearts for Brussels! Let’s bring together the people who make Brussels thrive: its shops, restaurants, cultural venues and neighbourhoods. With How to Visit Brussels, a BXLOVE initiative, Bernard Frisque starts with visitors’ interests to help them build their own itinerary. Digital tools and artificial intelligence serve a simple idea: inspiring people to discover Brussels in their own way.
A museum that catches your eye, a neighbourhood to explore, a restaurant to discover: choose your favourites, then bring them together in your itinerary. Visitors remain in control of their stops, days and time spent at each place.
Bernard and 39 ChatGPT agents, less than 24 hours
Bernard Frisque, president of BXLOVE ASBL in Brussels, brought this new platform online in less than 24 hours with 39 ChatGPT agents. The project connects his commitment to Brussels with practical AI use. It invites visitors to move from online discovery to an itinerary they can take with them.
Your itinerary in four steps
- Explore Brussels. Open howtovisit.brussels, choose your language and browse the museums, neighbourhoods, restaurants and outings that interest you.
- Save your favourites. Tap the heart on places you like. Find your selection in your notebook; tap the heart again to remove a place.
- Build your itinerary. Choose your days and transport, select the day to add places to, then add your favourites. Reorder stops, adjust visit durations and check addresses and travel times.
- Take your itinerary with you. Confirm the requested addresses, create your itinerary and download your travel notebook. The HTML file includes Google Maps links. Use Print / PDF for a paper or PDF version.
From favourites to real encounters
This invitation is for Brussels residents and visitors alike. It calls on the city’s active communities to share the places they love and inspire others to explore Brussels. A heart on a place becomes a chosen stop; a personal selection becomes a walk, an outing or a day of discoveries.
Your favourites and itinerary stay in this browser: download your notebook to take it with you. Before setting out, check opening hours, tickets and routes with the venues and Google Maps.
